About the event
Backbends serve as an antidote to our seated lifestyle, they open up space in the entire front body, improve posture, mobility and strength, charge the kidneys, and renew the adrenals, providing energy and restoring balance to our bodies and our lives. If you’re like many of us though, the thought of backbending can be a little intimidating. Let us help you overcome any hesitation as we learn the simple techniques to stabilize your body, build a better core, create space and flexibility within the vertebrae and muscles and safely deepen your backbend to keep your spine happy and healthy. This workshop is best suited for students with a regular yoga practice. It is not recommended during pregnancy.
